Voice mode: echo + noise reduction on
Done? Send the take straight to the mastering room for polish and loudness.
Getting a good take
- Watch the input meter while you speak – aim for the green zone with peaks around -12 dBFS, and back off if you see HOT.
- Use Voice mode for speech: the browser cleans up echo and background noise.
- Use Music mode for singing or instruments: all processing is switched off for a raw, full-bandwidth signal.
- Get close to the microphone (a hand-width away) and record a 5-second test first.
What you get
Your take is captured as raw 32-bit float PCM – not run through a lossy codec first – so what you export is exactly what the mic heard. Downloads are MP3 at 320 kbps or WAV at 24-bit, both encoded on your device in a few seconds.
